            <origin><p>The fragment is kept in a folder titled ‘Åbo län’ along with other Finnish
              fragments. It contains the record of a hearing on <origDate when="1597-10-13">13 October 1597</origDate> in <origPlace>Turku</origPlace>. It seems
                likely that the fragment is one part of what was originally a larger compilation of
                court records from the court in Turku.</p></origin>
            <acquisition>
              <p>The later history of the fragment and how it came to the <orgName>Swedish National Archives</orgName>
                is not known. Since the fragment is kept together with other fragments relating to
                the courts of Finland, they may stem from the same location, possibly the <orgName>Svea court
                  of appeals</orgName>.</p>
