Three tenant registers concerning Lahis estate in Tavastland. They mostly include information on payments of various kinds (stadga, gingerd, and komol) as well as inventories of cattle. Presumably written in Lahis, the registers are in the name of Henrik Jacobsson, possibly the bailiff of the estate.

 Paper 47 folios. 11,5 35 Text area varies. No foliation. Quire structure uncertain. Many bifolia have had one folio cut out, and quires have been sewn unconventionally. The outermost bifolium encloses the three main quires which (approximately) align with the division of content between three years (1590, 1591, and 1592). In good condition. Text in a single column, not ruled.

Records that were part of manorial accounting at Lahis estate. The tenant registers are in the name of Henrik Jacobsson who presumably was the bailiff. The possessions accounted for are stated to belong to Anna Clemetsdotter Hogenskild (e.g. fol. 3r). The accounts are well written and structured. Parts of the text have been crossed out, implying an auditing process which would mean the records are most probably drafts (rather than transcripts). The most likely place of writing is Lahis estate.

The estate of Lahis was part of a larger set of possessions in Finland which also included the estates of Nynäs and Vik along with their tenant farms.

The financial records of Nynäs and related estates came to the Swedish Crown, and later the Swedish National Archives, when the possessions and archives of Hogenskild Bielke were confiscated following his execution in 1605 (see Introduction to these descriptions).
