              <p>Details on the quantity of seed to be sown, estate by estate, tenant by tenant, on
                the Finnish lands of <persName role="owner">Anna Clemetsdotter
                Hogenskild</persName>. Unusually, there seems to be no date or year given. The
                record, though, is preserved among a group of records from
                <origDate>1552</origDate>, and may well derive from this year. The lack of a date
                may be explained by the fact that the document intentionally records recurrent
                practice over many years. </p>

            <origin><p>A stylish and carefully written register with no counterpart in the <date
                  from="1500" to="1599">16th-century</date> records from
                  <placeName>Nynäs</placeName> and linked estates. The well-thought-out execution is
                visible in the structuring of the account: the first folio only contains a heading
                and the pages are not crowded by text. The record ends with a Latin mark 'finis',
                which is rare in this type of material.</p></origin>
            <acquisition>
              <p>The financial records of <placeName>Nynäs</placeName> and related estates came to the Swedish Crown, and
                later the <orgName>Swedish National Archives</orgName>, when the possessions and
                archives of <persName role="owner">Hogenskild Bielke</persName> were confiscated
                following his execution in <date type="acquisition">1605</date> (see <hi
                  rend="italic">Introduction</hi> to these descriptions).</p>
