              <p>Limp binding: all quires sewn together and to a medieval parchment wrapper. The
                fragment comes from the same <date from="1400" to="1499">15th-cent.</date> Dominican
                  <title>Lectionary</title> (21,5 x *30,5 (14 x 23), two columns with 34 lines of
                text) that was used for wrappers of another set of accounts from
                  <placeName>Nynäs</placeName> in the <date from="1560" to="1569">1560s</date>. The
                fragment is comprised of three bifolia and a parchment strip all from the same quire
                and sewn together; see <ref type="mss">Stockholm, National Archives, Fr
                10953</ref>.</p>

            <origin><p>A disorderly register with different sections on the finances of
                  <origPlace>Vik</origPlace> estate. Has the character of a notebook perhaps used as
                a draft for fair-copy records. The register is a part of a large block of records
                from the <date from="1500" to="1599">16th century</date> pertaining to the estates
                of <placeName>Nynäs</placeName>, <placeName>Vik</placeName>,
                  <placeName>Kyllelä</placeName>, and <placeName>Lahis</placeName>.</p></origin>
            <acquisition>
              <p>The financial records of <placeName>Nynäs</placeName> and related estates came to
                the Swedish Crown, and later the <orgName>Swedish National Archives</orgName>, when
                the possessions and archives of <persName role="owner">Hogenskild Bielke</persName>
                were confiscated following his execution in <date type="acquisition">1605</date>
                (see <hi rend="italic">Introduction</hi> to these descriptions).</p>
