An envelope contains the fragments of four folia with records from
Loose quires, the original order of which is somewhat uncertain (see
e.g. the break in the chronological series at fol.
The present archival unit contains more material, but the 140 folia described here appear to form an original codicological unit, with dimensions that are distinct from the rest of the book but which correspond to the dimensions of the parchment leaf used as their cover (Turku, The Provincial Archives of Turku, The Rauma Magistrate’s Archives, HD:1). There is also an unfoliated bifolium [fols. 141–142] and similarly unfoliated fragments of four folia (in very poor condition). The four leaves seem to belong to the original book, while the bifolium appears to be somewhat later and may derive from elsewhere.
