              <p>One main hand writing a cursive. The hand may be the same one appearing at least in
                some of the accounts bound in the same volume. It also appears in other registries
                of fines (<ref type="mss">Helsinki, National Archives, 1941</ref>; <ref type="mss"
                  >Helsinki, National Archives, 216b</ref> (hand III)).</p>

              <p>The ingresses are written in a more formal script. Apart from that, no
                decoration.</p>

              <p>Modern binding of blue cardboard. The same binding includes several other
                manuscripts: namely accounts from Ylä-Satakunta written around the same time as this
                manuscript.</p>

            <origin><p>A <title>registry of fines</title> from sessions presided over by <persName
                  role="judge">Jöns Västgöte</persName> in <origPlace>Ylä-Satakunta</origPlace> in
                  <origDate>1554</origDate>. The record is a transcript. Although the scribe may be
                the same as appears in other booklets bound in the same volume, the current
                composition of the volume is probably modern.</p></origin>
            <acquisition>
              <p>The later history of the manuscript is unknown. Probably it was sent to
                  <country>Sweden</country> after its writing and shipped back to
                  <country>Finland</country> after the <placeName>Hamina</placeName> accords of
                  <date type="acquisition">1809</date>. National Archives’ call-mark '1973' on a
                label pasted to fol. 1.</p>
