          <history>
            <origin><p>The two folia stem from a <origDate from="1100" to="1199">saec. XII</origDate> manuscript, but it is not known when or
              how the manuscript arrived in <country>Finland</country>.The surviving leaves were used as pastedowns
              in a book that belonged to <placeName type="provenance">Kangasala</placeName> church. The book has since been lost, but the
                covers have survived.</p></origin>

              <p>Fol. <locus>2v</locus>, in a hand of <date type="addition" from="1500" to="1599"
                  >saec. XVI</date>(?): ‘Liber Ecclesiae Canga:[sala]’. These leaves have been
                removed from a binding of <date type="binding" from="1500" to="1599">saec.
                  XVI</date>, once attached to a book that belonged to <placeName type="provenance"
                  >Kangasala</placeName> church. The empty binding was discovered under the church
                floor in <date type="acquisition">1896</date>.</p>
