 Paper 265 folios 20 32 14,5 20,5 No foliation. Catchwords appear regularly on each page. The manuscript is in decaying condition. One unruled column with a varying number of lines.

Kristoffer’s <hi rend="italic" >Landslag</hi> and most of the articles are written in 1581 by a scribe who identifies himself as Benedictus Laurenti; fol. 2r: ‘Explicit expliceat ludere scripto at(?) Explicit lex liber anno 1581 vigesimo octavuo nouembris, Si tu cognoscere queris codicis istius Benedictus Laurenti est nomen illius…’

Magnus Eriksson’s <hi rend="italic" >Stadslag</hi> is written by another, roughly contemporary, scribe.

Monochromatic initials in black at the beginning of chapters and articles. Chapter numbers and beginning words are also written in a larger and more formal script.

Leather covers enforced with paper. Blind-toolings with roll stamps, which bear stylistic resemblance to those from Leipzig (see Nyberg 2002, 41). The binding features a wrap-around flap from the lower cover. Remnants of one catch on the front cover. The letter ‘B’ has been carved on the front cover. Paper pastedowns.

A copy of Kristoffer's <hi rend="italic">Landslag</hi> written in 1581 by Benedictus Laurenti, and Magnus Eriksson's <hi rend="italic" >Stadslag</hi> along with other juridical texts written roughly around the same time. A likely place of origin is Sweden.

On fol. 265v a marking dated 1636 by a Magnus Lom in Åbotorp (or Åkertorp?).

Inner front cover: 'L. no 6'.

Donated to Porvoo gymnasium by Wenzel Fredrik Rotkirch 18 November 1797. Previously the manuscript had belonged to Johan Lagerhjelm (d. 1682), a lawman (lagman) in Sweden. His studies included a stay in the University of Turku.
