Three last folia of the quire have been excised.

The quire is in relatively bad condition. There are stains, severe fraying along the edges and tears in the paper. Some of the tearing has led to loss of text.

 One unruled column with a varying number of lines.

Cursive script by one main hand. A few other hands writing corrections and additions.

No decoration.

Single quire sewn through the centerfold; no covers. Placed in a modern brown paper bifolium with the heading ‘Dombok för Asikala m. fl. socknar 1584. Tavastehus län’.

A single quire containing court records from different parishes in Häme province, 1584. It is written by one main hand in a steady and trained cursive. There are several sections struck out and/or added to by other hands, which suggest the manuscript was a working copy. Probably it was at some point part of a larger collection.

The later history of the fragment is uncertain. At some point it arrived in the Swedish National Archives. It is stored with a variety of other documents concerning Finland.
