 Paper 95 folios 20 32,5 13-13,5 25,5-26 Foliation in ink by a hand roughly coeval to the main hand. The binding of the manuscript is extremely tight and renders it impossible to collate accurately. However, the binding seems to include at least quires of eight bifolia (16 leaves). Catchwords appear regularly in the lower margin of each page.

Several leaves missing from the beginning; at least two missing after fol. 2. One leaf missing after fols. 23, 34; two leaves missing after fol. 46. A stub visible between fols. 10 and 11, no loss of text. The scribe has (accidentally?) jumped over fols. 7v–8r and the text from fol. 7r continues on fol. 8v.

The same watermark featuring a coat of arms with a crown on top (see Briquet, Armoires - Aigle, 917-919) appears throughout the manuscript.

Several leaves have been cut; the surviving ones are in good condition, apart from some dirt. The lower outer corners of fols. 89–94 have been folded.

One main hand writing a cursive of saec. XVI2. Other hands appear on fols. 89v–95v, and possibly 72r–74r. According to Schlyter (1869, LVII), the manuscript is written by the same hand responsible for another manuscript with the same main text (in 19th-century the manuscript was in the possession of Per Jonsson heirs; see Schlyter 1869, no. 75).

A contemporary hand writes several additions in the margins and after the chapters of the laws.

Simple monochromatic pen-drawn initials at the beginning of chapter and articles (1–2 lines high). On fol. 7r a simple initial in red. In several places the space reserved for the initial has been left blank. First line of the article texts written in a larger script. Article numbers written in the outer margin, chapter headings added in the upper margin by the same hand that made numerous additions.

Dark brown calf over wooden boards. Stamped decoration of blind-tooled frames with leaves to the interior (much of the type found in the bindings of Hans Düsterbach (active c. 1560–1591). In the centre an oval shape decorated with geometrical patterns. Remnants of clasps are visible on the fore-edges of the boards. Paper pastedowns. On the spine the shelf-mark of the Uppsala University Library is visible. The boards overhang the text-block. Four sewing stations visible.

The manuscript contains King Kristoffer’s <hi rend="italic">Landslag</hi> with other regulations and royal documents, probably written during the second half of saec. XVI. Most of the writing was done by a single scribe writing a steady cursive script. The manuscript contains a few documents related to Finland, namely Klas Fleming’s and Sten Sture’s rulings in fifteenth-century Turku. These documents might suggest the manuscript is connected to Finland. The texts of the <hi rend="italic" >Landslag</hi> and <hi rend="italic">Visby sjörätt</hi> contain affinities with another manuscript, Uppsala University Library, B 38, which belonged to Klas Karlsson Horn (1583–1632) at the beginning of saec. XVII.

A note found on the inner front cover (‘Johan Hinric Lidén Norrköping 1760’) suggests that by 1760 the manuscript had come into the hands of Johan Hinric Lidén (d. 1793, who studied in Turku, although at a later date (1761–1763). Large parts of his collections came to the University Library in Uppsala by donation in 1779.
