Fols. 155r–154v: A fragment containing Mikael Agricola’s translation of proverbs in Swedish and a Latin text that would serve as an epilogue or else as a prologue to a following, text, now lost; ed. Carlsson 1945, 144–146. The leaves have been folded in the wrong direction, so that the text begins on fol. 155 and ends on 154.

 Paper 2 folios. 10,5 14,5 8,5 11 Modern foliation in ink. The leaves have been taped to the gutter of fol. 159. One unruled column with 18–19 lines of text.

A cursive hand belonging to the presiding bishop of Finland, Mikael Agricola, who dated the work on 2 January 1553.

No decoration.

A saec. XVIII half-binding with white leather on the spine and edges of the covers, which are formed of marbled cardboard. Paper pastedowns.

The manuscript contains a fragment of proverbs written by the presiding bishop of Finland, Mikael Agricola (d. 1557). Only the two last proverbs of a collection of twenty-six are preserved. They are followed by a Latin text, which can be interpreted as an epilogue for the proverbs or as a prologue for another text intended to follow (Sarajas 1956, 8–9).

The fragment is included in the collections of of the antiquary Elias Palmskiöld (1667–1719), which contain a various historical materials collected and copied during saec. XVIII. It is taped to a section containing various saec. XVIII notes on Mikael Agricola. How it came to be included in the collection is unknown. The whole collection came to Uppsala University Library in 1724.
