                <foliation>Modern foliation with pencil (9–17). The foliation seems to be a
                  continuation from court records containing testimonies and complaints from Halikko
                  and Piikkis in 1589 (<ref type="mss">Stockholm, National Archives, Strödda
                    domböcker och rättegångshandlingar, vol. 30, Court records for Halikko and
                    Piikkis, 1589</ref>). However, there is no reason to suppose the two fragments
                  have ever belonged to the same manuscript.</foliation>

                <condition>Fol. 17 has suffered various damage and is torn, causing some loss of
                  text. On other folia there is some lesser damage and fraying. The leaves were
                  conserved in <date>1937</date> at the <orgName>Swedish National
                  Archives</orgName>.</condition>

          <history>
            <origin><p>The fragment contains a <title>registry of fines</title> from
                  <origPlace>Masku</origPlace> and <origPlace>Vemo</origPlace> parishes in
                  <origDate>1590</origDate>. It was written by a single scribe and shows no
                additions or cancellations, which suggests it is a fair copy. The fragment is kept
                in a folder entitled ‘Åbo län’ along with other fragments.</p></origin>
            <acquisition>
              <p>The earliest clue for the fragment’s later provenance is the note on fol.
                  <locus>9r</locus> that the leaves were conserved in <date>1937</date> in the
                Swedish National Archives. Possibly it arrived from the <orgName>Svea court of
                  appeals</orgName> as did some other fragments found in the folder. </p>
