The foliation seems to be a continuation from court records containing testimonies and complaints from Halikko and Piikkis in 1589 (Stockholm, National Archives, Strödda domböcker och rättegångshandlingar, vol. 30, Court records for Halikko and Piikkis, 1589). However, there is no reason to suppose the two fragments have ever belonged to the same manuscript. Four loose bifolia and one singleton. Fol. 17 has suffered various damage and is torn, causing some loss of text. On other folia there is some lesser damage and fraying. The leaves were conserved in 1937 at the Swedish National Archives. Number of lines varies, one unruled column.

The fragment contains a registry of fines from Masku and Vemo parishes in 1590. It was written by a single scribe and shows no additions or cancellations, which suggests it is a fair copy. The fragment is kept in a folder entitled ‘Åbo län’ along with other fragments.

The earliest clue for the fragment’s later provenance is the note on fol. 9r that the leaves were conserved in 1937 in the Swedish National Archives. Possibly it arrived from the Svea court of appeals as did some other fragments found in the folder.
